CJC-1295
Peptides
CJC-1295 is a synthetic peptide that helps your body release more growth hormone (GH). Growth hormone plays a big role in building muscle, burning fat, improving sleep, and speeding up recovery. CJC-1295 is often used by bodybuilders, athletes, and people looking to improve their body composition or slow down aging.
There are two versions:
CJC-1295 with DAC: Longer-acting version. One or two injections per week.
CJC-1295 without DAC (aka Mod GRF 1-29): Shorter-acting. Daily injections.
How it works:
CJC-1295 doesn’t contain growth hormone itself. Instead, it tells your pituitary gland (in your brain) to make and release more of your body’s own GH — which is safer and more natural than injecting GH directly.
Here’s what it does:
Boosts Natural GH Pulses: It increases how much and how often your body releases GH.
Leads to More IGF-1 Production: GH tells your liver to make IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor 1), which is important for muscle growth and recovery.
Works Best When Combined with GHRPs: It’s often paired with peptides like Ipamorelin to get a stronger effect.
How to use it:
Dosing & Cycling:
With DAC (long-acting):
Dose: 1–2 mg injected 1–2 times per week
When: Best injected in the evening or before sleep
Without DAC (short-acting / Mod GRF 1-29):
Dose: 100–200 mcg 1–3 times per day, often paired with a GHRP like Ipamorelin
When: Morning, post-workout, or before bed
Injection Type:
Injected under the skin (subcutaneous), usually in the belly fat area.
Cycle Length:
8–12 weeks is common. Some people stay on longer with breaks.
Benefits:
What CJC-1295 Can Be Used For:
Muscle Growth: Helps build lean muscle mass by increasing GH and IGF-1 levels.
Fat Loss: Speeds up fat burning, especially belly fat, by boosting metabolism.
Better Recovery: Helps repair muscles and tissues faster after workouts or injuries.
Improved Sleep: GH is released mostly during deep sleep, and CJC-1295 can help improve sleep quality and recovery.
Anti-Aging: Many users report better skin, more energy, and improved focus over time.
Potential Side Effects:
Generally Well-Tolerated: CJC-1295 is considered safe when used properly.
Possible Side Effects:
Mild water retention or bloating
Increased hunger
Tingling or numbness in hands (from higher GH/IGF-1 levels)
Tiredness or flu-like feeling when starting
Redness at the injection site
How to Avoid Issues:
Start with a low dose and increase slowly
Use clean injection techniques
Stay hydrated and monitor how your body responds
My Experience:
Same as Ipamorelin. Haven't used it yet but am looking into using it soon to build more muscle at a faster rate before doing my next bodybuilding show in 2026.
